Musical Director
David Bremner
David is Principal Trombone of the NZSO since 2002. He began with cornet and euphonium under his father, Trevor Bremner. David studied trombone at Victoria University of Wellington and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has performed globally and directed various bands and educational programs in New Zealand. David has lead WBB to several victories, most notably making history claiming the record 5th National title for a NZ Brass Band.

Drum Major
Matthew Stein
Our Soprano Cornet Matthew Stein is an accomplished drum major, formerly of the Air Force and Navy Band. With years of experience with elite marching bands, he has excelled in directing and coordinating Wellington Brass Band. His dedication and efficiency has made him a standout in the Australasian marching scene, with a commendable Australian marching title to his hat.
